Manager and business manager of the SIREDO paediatric oncology centre – Institut Curie

The SIREDO Pediatric Oncology Centre (Care, Innovation, Research in Oncology of the Child, Adolescent and Young Adult) is looking for a manager and business manager.

The SIREDO centre is the first centre in France to integrate research and care and is entirely dedicated to cancers in children under 25. SIREDO is made up of more than 70 scientists, 5 research teams, and about 50 doctors and non-medical caregivers who are mobilized to accelerate the fight against cancers affecting young people, with a single objective: to cure more young patients and cure them better.

The person recruited will report to the Director of the SIREDO centre and will have a functional link with the Department of Development and Industrial Partnerships – DVPI (Head of the Licensing and Industrial Partnerships Unit).

Profile required

  • PhD in oncology
  • Experience and/or training in project and/or people management
  • Knowledge of the world of valorisation and intellectual property
  • Knowledge of paediatric oncology regulations and experience in contract negotiation will be an asset will be a real asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and adaptability
  • Good level of written and spoken English

JUNIOR GROUP LEADER POSITION (M/F) Basic Research in Paediatric Oncology – Institut Curie

The Inserm Unit U830 “Cancer, Heterogeneity, Instability and Plasticity” (CHIP) led by Olivier Delattre is recruiting a junior research team leader wishing to address questions on the fundamental mechanisms of cancer (“hallmarks of cancer”) using paediatric cancers as model systems and/or studying the molecular basis of childhood cancers.

Important criteria for the selection of candidates will be the outstanding quality of their scientific record and project, as well as their ability to interface with biologists and clinicians in the research and clinical departments and beyond, and to stimulate developments in the field of biomedical cancer research, the core mission of the Institut Curie.
